Leg Training | 08.11.16


Hello all! It's been a long time indeed; in fact, it has been months since I last posted on my blog but I am back and excited to share with you the details of yesterday's leg training session. You will see that there was a lot of volume and that always works best for my long legs. Take a look below.

Warm-Up
Stair Master x 15 minutes

Bilateral Leg Extensions
70 lbs x 25 x 2
80 lbs x 20 x 1

Lying Leg Curls
80 lbs x 12 x 7

Unilateral Leg Extensions (superset) Plate Squats
40 lbs x 25 x 2 (25 lbs x 20 x 2)
50 lbs x 20 x 1 (25 lbs x 20 x 1)
60 lbs x 15 x 1 (25 lbs x 20 x 1)

Leg Press

10 plates x 20 x 2
12 plates x 15 x 2
14 plates x 15 x 2

FreeMotion Squat Machine

240 lbs x 20 x 1
260 lbs x 15 x 1
280 lbs x 15 x 2

Squats (slow, explosive reps)

135 lbs x 15 x 2
185 lbs x 15 x 1
225 lbs x 12 x 2

Dumbbell Walking Lunges

20 lbs x 2 rounds back and forth

Seated Unilateral Leg Press
60 x 15 x 1
70 x 15 x 2

    1. This was a high-volume session and my training was based on instinct, so just when I thought I was done, I did one more exercise. These are the kind of training sessions that keep my body growing though. Enjoy your next round :)
