The Room For Improvement

Hello all!

Wow!  It's just been a crazy couple of weeks, hence the lack of blog posts.

There is no one particular thing that has kept me away from you guys, I've just been preoccupied with personal matters and taking those on as they come.  Even still, my training has been going pretty well.  I can't say that it has always been consistent in terms of scheduling but they have been productive.  And my nutrition...well, it's been as inconsistent as my training.  Yet, I am still making appreciable gains and more than likely because my body is thinking that I am doing calorie and macro cycling when in all actuality, I am just too lazy to eat all of my meals or my schedule creates conflict.

So beyond all of the things that I mentioned above, I feel like competing successfully is well within my grasp-I can still make it happen.  I am going to get everything in check on my training and nutrition so that I can keep growing and then in terms of how my body is developing overall, I am paying close attention to how my calves and back are improving.  I have a long torso and while my back poses look good from the rear, I am needing to "pull down" my lats a bit so that they do not look as high in my front shots, especially the double-biceps where high lats are exploited the most.  In order to remedy this, I am keeping my body more parallel to the floor when doing movements like Barbell Rows and Dumbbell Rows, a tip that I grabbed up from 8x Mr. Olympia Lee Haney whose back development was superb.

I have about four months to make the improvements that I feel will make me of champion quality.  This is still an exciting period for me to be in; being able to watch my body transform slowly but surely leaves me with a feeling of such accomplishment.  The best is yet to come...again, making this journey that much more exciting!  Stay tuned for my next update...and oh, now you can follow me on Instagram.

  1. Thank You for coming back! I need some tips on getting good body figure. I work sitting on chair for long time so that I am feeling rapid increase of fat in my belly. In this case, what can I do to reduce & control my fat or belly expansion?
